Marco Mertens entertained us one night of our easter holidays with a workshop on portrait photography.  He told us everything there is to know about photographing belgian celebrities, like taking advantage of the existing backlight and using reflection screens.  The exercise consisted out of taking as many beautiful photos of the room as possible, and this within the next 15 minutes.  Lucikly there was a beautiful sunset going on that made it just a little easier on all of us.  When going over everyone's photos, it was clear again how different all of us work.  Despite having the same subject, all the photos turned out entirely different.  This is what I ended up with.
