Rob Stevens (1967) has, for many years, been the renowned house photographer of KU Leuven. After two years as a student of Political and Social Sciences, in his early twenties, he decided to devote his life to photography. He first studied at the Narafi in Vorst. After his studies, he started teaching photography at STUK, as well as taking freelance jobs. He began his career at KU Leuven as a freelancer for Campuskrant, but throughout the years, his assignments for the university have grown increasingly varied. One might now say that Rob has depicted every possible aspect of university life in his photographs, which recently resulted in his appointment as the university’s permanent full-time photographer.
